The art of the land

This collection is born from Salarrué's *Cuentos de Barro* (Tales of Clay), a work that transforms rural life into a universe of symbolism and deep-rooted connection. Inspired by *La Honra* (The Honor), *La Niña de Oro* (The Golden Girl), and *Los Cántaros* (The Pitchers), these handcrafted bags become portable fragments of memory and culture. Clay, linked in literature to peasant life, is reinterpreted here as a symbolic material: hand-molded beads evoke the bond between body and earth. Each story inspires forms and surfaces where textile illustration and machine embroidery intertwine, creating narrative layers. Thus, each bag is a book without pages: a dialogue between design, craftsmanship, and folk memory.
